Instead of moving food through layers of procurement, warehousing and physical distribution, Send Food connects funding directly with families and local grocery stores through one digital platform.

We believe funding should be clear.

When you fund food through Send Food, 100% of the amount you choose to fund becomes groceries.

A separate platform fee is shown clearly at checkout and helps cover the technology, payment infrastructure, currency exchange, taxes, transfer fees and operations that keep Send Food running.

Participating grocery stores also pay a small transaction fee.

We’re not a charity, we’re a business — and we think that’s worth being transparent about.

Our goal is to build infrastructure that can sustain itself while making every food funding dollar go further.
