Business partners

Help build the network that makes food assistance work — and turn your relationships into opportunities for local communities.

Send Food connects food funding, verified families and local grocery stores. Business partners help grow that network by referring funders, introducing organisations and onboarding merchants.

WHY WORK WITH SEND FOOD

Three ways to partner. You can do all three.

Referral partners

Share a unique referral code with your audience, community or professional network. Eligible funding can be attributed to your referral.

Funding partners

Introduce NGOs, foundations, companies, governments or philanthropists who could fund food assistance through Send Food.

Merchant partners

Help trusted local grocery stores and food retailers join the Send Food merchant network.

A partnership that fits your network

Participate in one, two or all three pathways. Bring your existing relationships and help connect funding with groceries for families.

WORKING TOGETHER

Clear earning terms. Practical tools and support.

Partner commissions

The proposal offers 10% of the eligible Send Food revenue generated by the partners you bring on, for 12 months. This is a share of Send Food’s fees, rather than 10% of food funding.

Merchant example

At a 5% merchant fee, a 10% revenue share is equivalent to 0.5% of the eligible transaction value. Eligibility and attribution follow your Partner agreement.

Funding example

At a 12% platform fee, a 10% revenue share is equivalent to 1.2% of the eligible food funding amount. Final terms are confirmed in your Partner agreement.

Tools to get you started

Pitch decks, outreach materials, FAQs, application links, onboarding guidance, support and training help you present Send Food and answer questions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A few things you may want to know.

Where can I share my referral code?

Through social media, your website, newsletters, community groups, content, email or other channels, according to the Partner terms.

Do I need to manage the funding relationship?

No. You make the introduction, and Send Food can take over the conversation, campaign setup and operational side.

Can I apply on behalf of a merchant?

You can introduce a merchant and help complete their application. Send Food must complete verification and approval before they can participate.

Can I combine partnership pathways?

Yes. You can refer funders, introduce funding organisations and onboard merchants within the same partnership.
